The servers

Three Foundry instances, one per game system rather than one per night. Your session booking says which one you are sitting at — open it a few minutes early and sign in with the details from your invite.

These are game servers, not web pages. Each one opens on a Foundry login. If you have not booked a seat yet, the schedule is the place to start — there is nothing to see behind the login until you are at a table. Foundry itself is software the GM buys once and self-hosts: foundryvtt.com. Players join free through a browser, so you do not need a copy to sit at one of my tables — only I do.

Sitting down

In order.

1. Book a seat
Sessions are scheduled through the Cayden’s Keg Warhorn, an official Lodge for the Online Region.
2. Open the right tap
The system tells you which: Pathfinder on Guinness, Starfinder on Harp, Cosmere on Stout. Your booking names it too. They are separate servers, not mirrors of each other.
3. Bring a microphone
A headset is worth having; a camera is not required. Everything else is served from the table itself.
4. Turn up a few minutes early
Long enough to find out that your browser needs a reload, and not so long that anyone is waiting on you.

If something will not load

Foundry runs entirely in the browser, which means most trouble is browser trouble. A hard reload fixes the majority of it. A private window fixes most of the rest, because it starts with no extensions and no stale cache.

Stout is the one exception worth knowing about. It runs an older Foundry release on purpose, because the Cosmere RPG system has not caught up to the current one yet. If a module or a browser quirk behaves differently there than on Guinness or Harp, that is why — not something you have done.

If the server itself is not answering, that is on my end rather than yours — tell me and I will go and prod it.
