What it does
The Codex is a wiki of Cosmere characters, magic systems, organizations and locations. Every entry is broken into sections tagged to the book and chapter where that fact is revealed, so nothing further along than your own reading progress ever shows by default — it sits behind a one-tap spoiler cover you can still choose to open if you want it anyway. It's deliberately short-form: for the deep dive, every entry and every search links out to Coppermind, the 17th Shard’s own comprehensive Cosmere wiki, rather than trying to out-write it.
What you can do
- Browse and search by category — characters, magic systems, organizations, locations
- Link your Ars Arcana sync code so the Codex can see your reading position and gate itself automatically — it only looks, it never changes anything
- Switch to GM mode to see every entry ungated, for prep or re-reads
- Reveal any individual locked section by hand, without changing your linked reading position
